In Sep 2019, I spent 10 incredible days visiting mainly the western & southern region of Iceland. This is a country perhaps like no other. Its landscape is almost like another planet of our solar system, and it hits you in the face with it contrasting beauty - from the stunningly beautiful waterfalls in hidden moss-lined canyons to black-sand beaches landed with icebergs, to volcano-filled highlands, Iceland has it all. It is a true Landscape Photographer's mecca.
